I'm never going to watch them again. I'm moving and I don't want to bring them with me. I threw them out. Yay me!

  1. Before I got to the threw it out part, I was going to suggest you Freecyle them...to my amazement, someone wanted mine! People will take the craziest stuff...

  2. I considered Freecycling. Then I realized I had the potential to enable a level 5 Hoarder.

  3. So maybe I shouldn't Freecycle because I'm potentially enabling hoarders?

  4. Freecycle if you want! All I could think of was an episode of Hoarders where the woman hoarded VHS tapes. That was my motivation for ME to stop hoarding the tapes and get rid of them. See, I'd been holding onto them with the intention of Freecycling, and two years later, I still had them.

  5. I have Freecycled in the past. What I'm doing now is getting rid of the stuff that I've been holding onto to Freecycle but never did. I want to start packing and junking out stuff now, not one week before I move. Sure, there could be some people who would have loved the tapes, but all I could envision was the hoarder lady and I said enough is enough.

  6. It's good food for thought, though. On the one hand, I can't bear to think of things rotting in landfills. On the other, I can't bear to watch "Hoarders" because it's so upsetting so I would also hate the idea of adding to someone's problem. I am not sure if there is a lesser of two evils! :)
